Palestine Newspaper, in its issue dated 24 March 1956, with 6 pages, for 15 fils is a daily, political, news and illustrated newspaper, founded in 1911 by Issa Dawood al-Issa, while its owner was Raja Issa al-Issa, and its director was Dawood Bandali al-Issa. Among its front page were international news about discussions between Russia and Britain about peaceful solutions in the Middle East, while the Arabs demanded Postponing the convening of the Security Council, which was scheduled to convene on Monday, 26 March 1956, at the suggestion of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a French-British-American presence, in which Arabs and Jews were prevented from speaking, making the Arabs demand that their delegates be allowed to attend the sessions and the discussion. On the local level, it was stated on its front page that the Arab Orthodox Conference in Jerusalem decided to continue seeking to amend the legislation governing the relations of the sect with the Patriarchate, and it also elected an executive committee for the conference.
