An Issue of the Palestine Newspaper, 22 October 1964
Palestine Newspaper, in its issue dated 22 October 1964, for 15 fils is a daily, political, news and illustrated newspaper, founded in 1911 by Issa Dawood al-Issa, while its owner was Raja Issa al-Issa, and its director was Dawood Bandali al-Issa. Its front page included the news of al-Hussein bin Abdullah, the King of Jordan, during his visit to the city of Irbid, while Nablus is preparing to receive him in the same period. The newspaper also quoted the Egyptian newspaper al-Ahram that Cairo decided to stop exporting Egyptian rice. At the same time, the Ministry of Agriculture in Amman issued a recommendation to allow the export of olives and oil for this year’s season.
