Issue 4758 of Al-Hayat newspaper, issued on 19 October 1961, and it is a Lebanese morning political newspaper founded by Kamal Mroueh in early 1946, and with the Nakba of Palestine in 1948, most of the Palestinian newspapers stopped publishing, which made Al-Hayat newspaper a major source of news, and it took from the poet verse of the poet Ahmed Shawqi its motto “Life is belief and jihad”. On its third page is a report on the eastern Ghor channel, its story dates back to 1954 when Johnson, America's envoy, came to the Arab East to present to Cairo, Amman, Damascus and Beirut a project to confine the waters of the Jordan River and redistribute it to Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and Gaza on the one hand, and Israel on the other.
