The Marriage Certificate of Mai as-Saleh and Yousef al-Ali, 8 September 1931
Issued in Haifa by the office of the judge of the Druze community, Samaan Tarif, on 8 September 1931 in Arabic, this document shows a replacement of a lost marriage certificate during the British Mandate, which indicates that the marriage contract was concluded between Mai Hussein Abden-Nabi as-Salih and Yousef Hussein al-Ali on 13 November 1927. The certificate also shows the age of the spouses, sect, place of residence, etc., and the signature of Judge Samaan Tarif in addition to his seal appears on the contract.
