Issued in Jerusalem and circulated during the British Mandate of Palestine until the 1948 Nakba, this document shows a Palestinian Pound with the following note "currency notes are legal tender for the payment of any amount", written in the three official languages of the British Mandate; English, Arabic and Hebrew. A photograph of the Dome of the Rock also appears on the Pound.
