Issue 6 of al-Jadeed Magazine, June 1991
Issued by the Cooperative al-Ittihad Press in Haifa, issue no. 6 in June 1991 of the al-Jadeed magazine, which is a monthly magazine of intellect and modern national culture established in 1951, its first editor was Hanna Naqqara and its editor-in-chief was Antoine Shalhat. This issue included: 1. Introduction text by Mohammad Ali Taha. 2. An article titled “The Arab Intellectuals and the New International Order” by Abderrahman Munif. 3. An article titled "The First Features of the Change in the Construction of the Poem's Form" by Nabih Qasem. 4. An article titled “Convex or Concave Mirrors” by Hanna abu Hanna. 5. Poems by Farouq Mwasi. 6. A story titled “Night of the Lunar Eclipse" by Karim Eid. 7. An article titled “Rahbani and Poetic Creativity” by Shawqi Baghdadi. 8. Poetry titled “Mazofat Ann Ashawq” (Songs of Longing) by Zuheir as-Sabbagh. 9. A story titled “Dancing in a Mud Swamp” by Mohammad abu Rayya. 10. Poetry titled “Zanbaqa Samra” (Black tulip) by Ibrahim Malik. 11. Publishing a chapter of the Israeli writer, Katsink Yechiel de Nour’s novel titled “Confrontation”, where the chapter was translated and offered by Antoine Shalhat. 12. Studies in heritage titled “Magic and Astrology” by Khaled Awad. 13. Poetry pieces by Kamal Melhem. 14. A selection of cultural news made by the al-Jadeed magazine editing committee.
