Issue 10 of al-Jadeed Magazine, October 1983

The tenth issue of the al-Jadeed magazine, a monthly magazine for progressive national thought and culture, founded in 1951 and printed in the Union Cooperative Press in Haifa, issued in October 1983 under the supervision of its first editor Hanna Naqqara and its editor-in-chief Emile Touma, and a poster issued by the Resisting the spread of American missiles in Europe movement was printed on the outer cover. The issue included the following: 1. Al-Jadeed opinion titled "Five Years after the Camp David Plot". 2. An article titled “Peace and Relief are the First Tasks of the Era” by Samih al-Qasim. 4. An article titled "The Land and Refugees Conference" by Raja Elias. 5. A study titled "The Israeli in the Arab Story" by Antoine Shalhat. 6. An interview with the Iraqi artist R. Jabri. 7. A story titled "Inspiration" by Salman Natour. 8. An article titled "Artistic Elements in al-Jahiz's Literature" by Hussein Marwa. 9. An article titled "A Writer and a Story, Ahmad Mahfouz Omar" by Riad Baidas. 10. A critical article on two poetry collections by Khalil Touma and Yakoub Ibrahim. 11. A story titled "My Brother" by Graham Cranes. 12. A critical article on Hani abu Ghadab's study titled "Fadwa Touqan, the Poet and Suffering" by Shaker Farid Hasan. 13. An article titled "When the Poem Becomes an Attempt to Escape" by Yaron Bakir. 14. The poem "Al-Masa Ajmal al-Qesas” (The Evening is the Most Beautiful Stories) from Turkish poetry was prepared and translated by Shawqi Abed al-Amir. 15. An article titled "On the Arab Theater in the Country" by Afif Shaliout.
