Issue 6 of al-Jadeed Magazine, June 1970
The sixth issue of the al-Jadeed magazine, a monthly magazine for progressive national thought and culture established in 1951, was issued in June 1970 under the supervision of its first editor Hanna Naqqara and printed in the Union Cooperative Press in Haifa. The issue included the following: 1. The talk of the month titled “Mutual Respect, the Essence of Coexisting” by the magazine’s editorial board. 2. An article titled “Palestinian Studies, Episode 15 (The Echo of the Division Decision and the White Book)” by Emile Touma. 3. An article titled “Jewish Book on the Modern Arabic Literature” by Salim Jabran. 4. A study titled “The Psychological Approach in the Modern Bourgeois Sociology” by Salim Jabran. 5. The poem “Al-Majd Lethowwar” (Glory to the Revolutionists) by Ali Fouda. 6. An article titled “Dialogue Among the Youth of the Kibbutz Movement” by Ali Rafe. 7. An article titled “On Oppression in Life” by Hasan Fouad. 8. News of world art and literature. 9. An article titled “The Immortal Song” by Basheer Munir. 10. “The Great Waltz” is a story by the writer Ivagov and translated by Radwan Ibrahim. 11. A poem titled “Right to Life” by Bertolt Brecht. 12. An article titled “The Arab Intellectual Conference in Khartoum” by Karim Marwa. 13. Cultural news.
