Issue 5 of al-Jadeed Magazine, March 1955
The fifth issue of the al-Jadeed magazine, a monthly magazine for progressive national thought and culture established in 1951, was issued in March 1955 under the supervision of its first editor Hanna Naqqara and printed in the Union Cooperative Press in Haifa. The issue included the following: 1. An article titled "The Story We Want" by Jabra Nicola. 2. An article titled "Colonial Day". 3. An Israeli story titled "Blood and Mist" by Jamal Mousa. 4. An article titled “Between the Huts and the Mud” by Adeeb al-Qass. 5. A story titled "Who is the offender" by Albert Malthus. 6. An article titled "In Memory of Stalingrad". 7. An article titled "October in My Town" by Muhammad Ibrahim. 8. "Looks at Books" corner. 9. Article about the Arab-Jewish Brotherhood Festival. 10. The al-Jadeed mail corner.
