Printed in Arabic, this document shows excerpts from the book "A Synopsis of the History of the Jerusalem Orthodox Church", which is written by Shehadeh Khoury and Nicola Khoury, published in 1925 in Jerusalem by the Jerusalem Press. The book consists of four chapters that divide the chronological history of the Jerusalem Church, the first chapter from its founding in the year 34 AD until the Arab-Islamic conquest in the year 638 AD, the second from the Islamic conquest in the year 638 AD until the receipt of Sultan Selim of the Ottoman year 1517 AD, the third during the era of the Ottoman Turks and the fourth in the era of the British Mandate.
