An Issue of the Palestine Newspaper, 11 May 1949
Found in 1911 by Issa Dawood al-Issa, this issue of the Palestine Newspaper is dated 11 May 1949, which is a political, news and illustrated newspaper, the issue includes several subjects and headlines such as: 1- Talks between the committee and the Arab and Jewish delegations and the possibility of them developing into a peace conference. 2- The Arab Farmers Sub-Committee held a meeting in the Triangle. The Arab side protested in the meeting that the Jewish authorities forced the Arab population to provide weapons, which violates the terms of the armistice. 3- A meeting of Arab leaders before the Arab League Council is invited to a meeting. 4- The Bloc Party held a meeting in the city of Tripoli, in which the Libyans stated that they would resist every decision that contradicts their national aspirations, which is unity and independence, and that they do not believe in any decision taken by the United Nations, but rather they should work to achieve their demands themselves. 5- The Red Cross holds a press conference in which it dealt with several issues related to the interests of refugees. 6- The Special Committee emanating from the General Assembly decided at its meeting to recommend the inclusion of Israel in the United Nations. 7- Announcing to the refugees in Hebron that supplies will be distributed to them from 7 May 1949, until 13 May 1949.
