Friday Khutbah by Marouf Shtayyeh, the 1960s
Handwritten, this document shows a Friday Khutbah by Imam Marouf Shtayyeh at a mosque in the village of Salem to the northeast of Nablus in the 1960s, in which he began by praising Allah and spoke about the Islamic State and the calls for the unity of Arabs which he opposed, and advocated for the establishment of the Islamic State, supporting his speech with several Quran verses and Hadiths. It was mentioned that this Friday Khutbah was written on an announcement for the candidates of the Liberation Party in the Jordanian Parliament elections between the 1950s-60s.
