Appointment of Mohammad Amin al-Husseini, a Document of Sameeh Hammoudeh
Found in the Sameeh Hammoudeh Collection, undated and handwritten in Arabic, this document shows a quote from Sheikh Najm al-Din, explaining that whoever voted for Hajj Amin al-Husseini received 500 pounds, dating the establishment of the Islamic Society, the appointment of Mohammad Amin al-Husseini as Mufti of Jerusalem, and a list of the names of those who approved his appointment.
