A Letter from the Sheikh Bureik Village Elders to the Supreme Islamic Sharia Council, 1925
Found in the Sameeh Hammoudeh Collection, this document shows a handwritten letter from the Elders of the Sheikh Bureik Village to the Supreme Islamic Sharia Council regarding endowment properties in the village. This document bears the stamps of the village mukhtar (chief) and members. Taken from the Islamic Endowment Department in Jerusalem, Cultural Revival Section, in 1925.
