"Waqf Administration", a Research Abstract by Sameeh Hammoudeh
Handwritten on papers for the Centre for Planning and Studies in Kafr Kanna, Galilee subdistrict, this document shows a handwritten research abstract on Waqf Administration. The introduction states the transfer of endowment administration from the nazir, or waqf administrator, to the British employees and then to the Supreme Islamic Council. It includes proposals of the research axes which will focus on the Islamic awqaf properties, real estate, and lands such as mosques, community and health organizations, and schools which the endowment pays for. The awqaf lands take up approximately 10 thousand dunums.
