Issue 9 of al-Mahd Magazine, 13 April 1952

Issue 9 of the al-Mahd magazine, issued on 13 April 1952, and is a weekly, political and literary magazine, which was published in Bethlehem, where Ayoub Msallam was the franchisee and chief editor, while Nabil Shehadeh al-Khoury was its managing editor, Saba al-Bandak was its managing director, and his assistant was Mikhail Salim Kanawati. Its front page included an article titled "Oh my Lord, Christ, the Jews crucified you once, and your followers crucify you every day", and an introductory article by Hanna Effendi Saeed. On its ninth page, the magazine published an article by an anonymous journalist about the situation of refugees in worn-out tents and damp, dark caves, asking: When will we return to the lost paradise? On its fourteenth page, Sami Salti wrote about the comparison made by Norman Bentwich in his article in The Times of London on Arab Jerusalem and "Jewish" Jerusalem.
