A Letter Addressed from Hazem al-Khaldi to President of the Islamic Committee, 28 August 1969
Issued on 28 August 1969, this document shows a letter that was addressed from Hazem Mahmoud al-Khaldi, custodian of Al-Haram ash-Sharif of al-Quds, to the president and members of the Islamic Committee as well as to the Director of the Islamic Endowments (Awqaf) in Jerusalem, which included a comprehensive report on the security situation at Al-Haram ash-Sharif of al-Quds a week after Al-Aqsa Mosque was set on fire.
