Issue No. 274 of the Official Palestine Newspaper, 1 January 1931
Issued on 1 January 1931, this document shows issue no. 274 of the Official Palestine Newspaper featuring official government announcements including suspending the tables of rights and privileges in some villages, suspending the tables of claims in the village of Arab al-Faghara, filing the project for organizing the Spyridon area in the Jerusalem district, amending the project for organizing Jerusalem, handing over a lawyer’s license, the foreign lawyers exam for the year 1929, and the Blue Book on Palestine for the year 1929. It also included lists of the movement of immigrants to Palestine and those displaced from it, quarantine and communicable diseases, in addition to official government announcements regarding laws and legislation and amendments thereto. The issue was printed in Azriel Press in Jerusalem, where the price of the copy was fifty mils and was published twice a month. Said official government announcements and amendments include: Debtor's imprisonment bill for the year 1931. The draft law on the sale of alcohol on credit for the year 1931. Appointment of immigrant commissioners. Appointment of the Deputy Chairman of the Finance Committee of the Orthodox Patriarchate. An order under the Land Settlement Law - authorizing the assistant settlement warden with additional powers. An order under the Land Settlement Law regarding minimum land vouchers in the village of al-Safiriyya. Orders regarding the application of the property tax law in cities and the formation of assessment and appeal committees in the Jenin area. Order regarding the application of the Companies Act of 1929. A regulation under the Ports Act regarding lighthouse fees. A system under the Animal Diseases Act. Declaration under the Customs Act - Concerning privacy warehousing stores. Declaration under the Customs Law - Designation of places of entry into Haifa. Announcement regarding the agreement to cancel the visa with Spain and France.
