A Scene from the "al-Ama Wal-Atrash" Play
Undated, this photograph shows a scene from the "al-Ama Wal-Atrash (The Blind and the Deaf)" play including Majed al-Kurd as an employee at the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) and next to him is Maha abu Dahu. This play was originally derived from a novel by Ghassan Kanafani by the Wonder Box Theatre troupe and Balaleen (Balloons) troupe and directed by Akram al-Malki. Its first performance was on 30 May 1986 in al-Hakawati Theatre in Jerusalem after the text was edited and performed by several actors.
