Issued on 1 January 1929, this document shows issue no. 226 of the Official Palestine Newspaper featuring official government announcements including announcements regarding the initiation of settlement in some villages, suspension of rights tables in some villages, a declaration under the Criminal Procedure Law (regarding testimony) for the year 1927, the declaration of some villages that they are free of foot-and-mouth disease, lists of the movement of immigrants to Palestine and those displaced from it, and records of quarantine, communicable diseases and the sale of unclaimed goods. In addition to official government announcements regarding laws and legislation and amendments thereto. The issue was printed in Azriel Press in Jerusalem, where the price of the copy was fifty mils and was published twice a month. Said official government announcements and amendments include: Implementation of the amended Tobacco Law No. (7) of 1931. Implementation of Debtor Imprisonment Law No. 8 of 1931. The 1930 budget allocation bill for the year 1931. The amended Law of the Contempt of Courts of 1931. The amended Government Claims Law of 1931. Appointment of an agent for the head of the judiciary. Orders under the Urban Property Tax Law for the year 1928-1929 regarding the formation of appraisal committees and an appeal committee in Acre. The ordinance under the Town Planning Act of 1921 -1929. An order under the Local Councils Law of 1921 included the abolition of the Tira Council. Order under the Tobacco Act of 1925-1927 to abolish heishi tobacco (domestic tobacco). A system under the Postal Act of 1930. A system under the Prisons Act of 1921 regarding the release of prisoners. An announcement according to the Animal Diseases Law of 1926 came as follows: a system regarding the prevention of importing keep sea from Syria and Lebanon, and regarding the import of cows from Cyprus, and declaring some villages as infested. Announcement under the Retirement Pensions Act of 1925. Announcement under the Duty-Free Act 1924 to add an appendix to the schedule. Declaration under the Workers Compensation Act of 1927.
