A Scene from the "al-Ama Wal-Atrash" Play
Undated, this photograph shows Adel Tartir as the Blind carrying the actor Khalaf Amir Taha as the Deaf for a performance of the "al-Ama Wal-Atrash (The Blind and the Deaf)" play, while in the back is the tree believed to grant wishes before the delusion shatters, originally derived from a novel by Ghassan Kanafani by the Wonder Box Theatre troupe and Balaleen (Balloons) troupe and directed by Akram al-Malki, and its first performance was in 1986.
