Volume II of the Book "Preserving Health", 1937
Published by the Asreyah Library in Jaffa and printed by the Jerusalem Press in Jerusalem on 10 June 1937, volume II of the book “Principles of Health Preservation,” which is the second book in a series of natural lessons approved by the Knowledge Department in the Mandatory Government of Palestine and the Government of Transjordan. It was taught in Transjordan for the third (villages) and fourth (centres) grades, while in Palestine it was taught for the fourth (villages) and fifth (cities) grades. The book was written by Mohammad Adib al-Amri and divided into 13 chapters, each chapter dealing with topics such as bones, muscles, nervous system, senses, skin and kidneys, hygiene, microbes, the spread of diseases, prevention of communicable diseases, malaria, disinfectants and corruption prevention, physical exercise and first aid.
