Volume I of the Book "Principles of Hygiene", 10 October 1937
Volume I of the book "Principles of Hygiene", which is the first book in a series of natural lessons approved by the Education Department in the Mandatory Government of Palestine and the Government of Transjordan, where it was taught in Transjordan for the second grades (villages) and the third (centres), while in Palestine it was taught for the third grades (villages) and the fourth (cities). This book bears the number of the second edition, written by Muhammad Adib al-Amiri and published by the Modern Library in Jaffa and the printing of the Jerusalem Press in Jerusalem on 10 June 1937. The book was divided into 11 chapters that dealt with the following topics: 1. Chapter One: The Human Body - Bones. 2. Chapter Two: The Human Body - Muscles. 3. Chapter Three: Digestion and its System. 4. Chapter Four: Food. 5. Chapter Five: Water. 6. Chapter Six: Air. 7. Chapter Seven: Breathing. 8. Chapter Eight: The Heart and Blood Circulation. 9. Chapter Nine: Infectious Diseases. 10. Chapter Ten: First Aid. 11. Chapter Eleven: Public Health - The Status of Villages.
