The Book "The Science of Health", 1927
The twelfth edition of the book "The Science of Health" approved by the Department of Education in the Mandate Government of Palestine for the first and second grades in primary schools, authored by Dr Sorobian and translated by Amin Taqi ad-Din. The book was published by Najib Mitri, owner of al-Maaref Press in 1927, and was divided into 12 chapters as follows: 1. Chapter One: Hygiene and Respiratory Organs. 2. Chapter Two: The Sun, Blood and Heart. 3. Chapter Three: Water and Water Sources. 4. Chapter Four: Types of Drinks. 5. Chapter Five: Hashish and Tobacco. 6. Chapter Six: Food and Digestion. 7. Chapter Seven: Skin, Limbs, Mouth and Teeth. 8. Chapter Eight: Clothes. 9. Chapter Nine: The family, housing, and furniture. 10. Chapter Ten: Excrement and Filth. 11. Chapter Eleven: Aerobic exercises. 12. Chapter Twelve: Methods of sitting at desks and study chairs.
