"Marriage Certificates", Haifa, 1932-1934
Issued in Arabic and English from 1932 to 1934, this document shows a register containing marriage certificates held at the Mar Elias Orthodox Church in Haifa. The certificate documents the names and surnames of the husband and wife, their age, sect, and place of residence, in addition to information about their parents and witnesses. The record also contains certificates of celibacy and other documents associated with the registry.
