Printed in Arabic, this document shows issue no.22 of the al-Sarih weekly political critique Magazine, published by its owner and editor Hashim al-Saba' on 20 August 1949 and sold for 15 mils, the issue features many article critiques dealing with the political events of that period, including: - "Laws of Palestine", on dealing with the laws imposed by the British Mandate in Palestine. - “The Mine that Baffled Clever People and Frustrated Friends,” a reference to the war of nerves through rumours of mines in the Palestinian areas. - “Is it in the Interest of the Refugees to Return to Israel?”, discussing the issue of refugee citizenship in Arab countries with the issue of return. - "Satirical Comments on the News", about the establishment of a Jewish company in Chile to buy Palestinian lands.
