The Minutes of Meeting No. 87 of the Agricultural Committee 2004
The minutes of session No. 87 of the Agricultural Committee-Salfit, held on 12 Dec 2004_x000D_ The Committee decide at this meeting to prohibit aṣ-Ṣeyafe, which is a tradition of leaving the gleanings of olive trees for the poor to pick up, and to announce that through Farkha mosques' speakers, and fine those who violate instructions. They inform the farmers' whose olive have been stolen to file a complaint with the Committee to punish the perpetrators. They also decide to send a letter to Burqin village council prohibiting aṣ-Ṣeyafe.
