This video documents the interview Ibrahim Makhamreh conducted with Ziad Mohammad Yunis Makhamreh at the Khirbet Beer al-Edd area as part of the Protecting Cultural Heritage of Palestinians in Masafer Yatta Project, where Makhamreh speaks about a well called "Al-Edd Well", which the village was named after it and is connected to many folk stories, as there are 6 wells in the village which settlers are trying to control, he also explains the methods to renovate these wells. Then, he moves on to talk about living alone in the village after the last family left, then he speaks of the forcible displacement that happened in 1999, as the last of the village's residents were expelled, and that he returned two years later after their expulsion. It is worth mentioning that the Project was executed by the Centre for Trust Peace and Social Relations at Coventry University in Britain in cooperation with the Palestinian Museum and Dar al-Kalima University.
