Interview with Suad Awad, Protecting Cultural Heritage of Palestinians in Masafer Yatta Project, 19 August 2019

This video documents the interview Kawthar Nawajaa and Samiha al-Hreini conducted with Suad Ahmad Ali Awad at the Sfai al-Fouqa area as part of the Protecting Cultural Heritage of Palestinians in Masafer Yatta Project, where Awad talks about life at Sfai al-Fouqa and the Israeli attempts to control the area, as well as the forced displacement and expulsion practised by the Israeli Occupation Forces for 21 years. She also talks about the residents, their professions, their lives in caves and the lack of different services. It is worth mentioning that the Project was executed by the Centre for Trust Peace and Social Relations at Coventry University in Britain in cooperation with the Palestinian Museum and Dar al-Kalima University.
