Interview with Jamil Awad, Protecting Cultural Heritage of Palestinians in Masafer Yatta Project, 3 August 2019

This video documents the interview Kawthar and Fatima Nawajaa conducted with Jamil Ahmad Elayan Awad at the Sadat ath-Thaala area as part of the Protecting Cultural Heritage of Palestinians in Masafer Yatta Project, where Awad speaks of the reason the area is called Sadat ath-Thaala, his daily life working as a farmer, the process of expelling and displacing residents by the Israeli Occupation Forces and trying to seize and control the land, as well as residents' suffering due to lack of services in the area. It is worth mentioning that the Project was executed by the Centre for Trust Peace and Social Relations at Coventry University in Britain in cooperation with the Palestinian Museum and Dar al-Kalima University.
