This video documents the interview Jaber Dababseh and Fatima Nawajaa conducted with Ahmad Mohammad Ahmad Okasha at the al-Rakeez area as part of the Protecting Cultural Heritage of Palestinians in Masafer Yatta Project, where Okasha speaks about al-Rakeez and its position as a rest area for merchants and travellers, why its called as such and the caves within it, then he moves to talk about the continuous colonial attacks in the Area, the attempts of Israeli Occupation Forces to control the land and the operations of demolition, expulsion and forcible displacements in the area. It is worth mentioning that the Project was executed by the Centre for Trust Peace and Social Relations at Coventry University in Britain in cooperation with the Palestinian Museum and Dar al-Kalima University.
