Interview with Suoud Dababseh, Protecting Cultural Heritage of Palestinians in Masafer Yatta Project, 10 July 2019

This video documents the interview Jaber Dababseh and Fatima Nawajaa conducted with Suoud Mohammad Jaber Dababseh at the Khallet al-Dab' area as part of the Protecting Cultural Heritage of Palestinians in Masafer Yatta Project, where Dababseh speaks of his experience in planting trees in the Khallet al-Dab' area and its benefits, mentions the types of trees he plants including olives, prunus and figs, clarifies that he still uses traditional methods of farming due to the nature of the area and talks about the difficulties that he faces including being harassed by settlers and the Israeli Occupation Forces, in addition to the shortage of services and the weakness of infrastructure. It is worth mentioning that the Project was executed by the Centre for Trust Peace and Social Relations at Coventry University in Britain in cooperation with the Palestinian Museum and Dar al-Kalima University.
