Abdel-Rahman al-Haj Ibrahim Diaries, Tulkarm, 1927
Handwritten between 1 January and 21 February 1927, this document shows the diaries of Abdel-Rahman al-Haj Ibrahim for the year 1927, where he detailed his personal life events and his most important work such as feeling ill, the expenses he paid as wages for workers and artisans, the expenses for purchasing seedlings and tools, the fees of riding carriages and cars, all catering to the Faza orchard he owned near Tulkarm city and Umm Khaled village. Ibrahim also wrote down details of his participation in social events and mentioned the work he was doing in his capacity as mayor of Tulkarm and his attendance at the meetings of the Education Committee and the meetings called for by the Administrative Governor. He mentioned that he visited Jerusalem and met Aref al-Aref and Amin al-Husseini, the head of the Supreme Islamic Council.
