The shop used to provide customers with supplies, fabrics, cigarettes, grain, wheat, and other needs of the residents of the Masafer area. The shop remained in the village until 1966 when the Israeli Occupation Forces demolished it in its first attack on the Masafer area, before the Naksa and the occupation of the West Bank.
