Qoran of Shaheed Ayman Al-Luh Displayed at the '100 Shaheeds - 100 Lives' Exhibition, Feb 2001
This photograph shows a Qoran which belonging to shaheed Ayman Al-Luh who was murdered during the confrontation which had broken out near an military tower for Occupation Army Forces On October 4, 2000. This item was displayed at the "100 Shaheeds - 100 Lives" exhibition held at the Khalil Sakakini Cultural Center in Ramallah On February 20, 2001. which is taken by Isabel de la Cruz. the idea of the exhibition emerged weeks after the outbreak of the Second Intifada (Al-Aqsa Intifada) as a tribute to all those murdered in the struggle. However, as the number of shaheeds was exponentially increasing, the exhibition was limited to honoring the first 100 shaheeds representing all areas of Historic Palestine.
