"Jreeshah" Video, Al Masafer's Narrative, 2022
This video clip documents an interview with a group of women from the village of Al-Tuwani, where they discuss the tradition of preparing the popular dish "Jreeshah" during special occasions and its cultural significance as one of the most important inherited traditions. The video was produced by Mohammed Zawahreh and Oday al-Shobaki for Al-Shmoh Cultural Center in the village of Al-Masara, as part of "Al Masafer’s Narrative" project, funded by the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development and supervised by Taawon (Welfare Association).
