"Caves", Al Masafer’s Narrative Project, 2022 -2023
This video documents an interview with Zuhour Mohammad Awad from Khirbet Tuba and Mahmoud Al-Mahamda from Khirbet al-Mafqara. They discuss life in the cave or the grotto, locally known as "At-Tur," and how their ancestors dug these caves by hand. The video also includes general information about Masafer Yatta area. It was filmed by Iyas Abu Rahmeh in 2022- 2023, and produced for Alshmoh Cultural Center in Al-Masara village, as part of the "Al Masafer's Narrative" project, funded by the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development and supervised by Taawon (Welfare Association).
