ِA Part of Bassam Shakaa's Visit to France, 1980
Taken in 1980, this photograph shows a part of the visit of Bassam Shakaa to France at the invitation of the French President Giscard d'Estaing, following the Israeli Occupation Authorities' attempt to assassinate Shakaa in the same year. Shakaa is shown shaking hands with and personally welcomed by a delegate from the French Presidency on board a plane the moment he arrived at a Paris airport.
