A Part of Bassam Shakaa's Court Trial, November 1979
Taken in November 1979, this photograph shows Bassam Shakaa standing trial before the Israeli Occupation Supreme Court in Jerusalem. Shakaa's wife, Enaya al-Fassed, is shown having a verbal altercation with an Israeli police officer subsequently after a court hearing was held to issue a ruling in the case of his exile with the attendance of a crowd of people, lawyers, mayors of municipalities and foreign solidarity activists.
