Taken in June 1980, this photograph shows the staff of Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) visiting Bassam Shakaa at King Hussein Medical Center in Amman, in the wake of the Israeli Occupation Authorities' attempt to assassinate him, leading to the amputation of his legs on 2 June.
