Bassam Shakaa in a Visit to Dundee Municipality, 1981
Taken in 1981, this photograph shows Bassam on a visit to the Scottish municipality of Dundee city, accompanied by his wife, Enaya al-Fassed; their son, Haitham; Hani Arafat, engineer of Nablus Municipality; and Arafat's wife, Widad at-Tabari. The visit was made to celebrate the twinning between the two cities, Nablus and Dundee, and raising the Palestinian flag in the municipality building of the latter.
