Relatives and Friends of the Shakaa Family on a Visit to Egypt
Taken between 1962 and 1964, this photograph shows relatives and friends of Bassam Shakaa visiting his family in Egypt during the Shakaas' stay there as political refugees. Among the people identified in the photograph are Enaya al-Fassed, who appears at the forefront of the photograph; Bassam Shakaa, first from the right in the back row; Um Ammar Haidar, third from the right in the back row; and Said as-Sabe', first from the left in the back row.
