Taken in 1961, this photograph shows Bassam Shakaa and his wife, Enaya al-Fassed, who appears on the right side, at a cafe on their honeymoon in Syria, accompanied by Naguib al-Wathaify and his wife, in the course of the Shakaas' stay there as political refugees.
