Bassam Shakaa and His Wife's Relatives Visiting Them in Syria, 1961
Taken in 1961, this photograph shows the relatives of Bassam Shakaa and of his wife, Enaya al-Fassed, with the couple at their house in Damascus during their stay in Syria as political refugees. The people identified in the photo are Jaweda Shakaa, first from the right; next to her is her sister, Ibtisam; standing in front of Ibtisam is her child, Wafa; then are Eanaya al-Fassed and her husband, Bassam Shakaa; in addition to Rina and Nadia, sisters, on the left side.
