Bassam Shakaa and His Wife with Their Friends in Cairo, 1963
Taken in 1963, this photograph shows Bassam Shakaa and his wife, Enaya al-Fassed, with a number of their friends in Cairo during the Shakaas' stay there as political refugees. Among the people identified in the photograph are Rabab abu Ghazaleh, first from the right in the first row; next to her are Bassam and Enaya; and standing behind them is Abbas Tuqan.
