The Minutes of Meeting no. 1 of the Education Committee 1997
The minutes of meeting no.1 of the Salfit Education Committee held on 26 May 1997. The session discusses replacing Hasan az-Zir, former chair of the Committee with Shaher Ishtayyeh. The Committee also formed a cheque-signing committee, that consists of the Committee's chair, Accountant, and Finance Officer; who also occupy the said positions in Salfit municipality. Of note, this session was the first for the newly-formed Education Committee, after Shaher Ishtayyeh became the mayor of Salfit instead of Hasan az-Zir.
