A Letter to Bassam Shakaa from the Royal Institute of International Affairs, 20 October 1980
Sent on 20 October 1980, this letter was addressed to Bassam Shakaa, mayor of Nablus, from the Britain-based Royal Institute of International Affairs to confirm an invitation to Shakaa to participate in a meeting on the Question of Palestine in the course of his stay in Britain as part of his trip for treatment, in the wake of the Israeli Occupation Authorities' attempt to assassinate him on 2 June of the same year.
