Published on 10 May 1982, this press interview, entitled "The Confrontation is still Ongoing with the General and the Professor", was given by Bassam Shakaa and Wahid al-Hamdallah, dismissed mayors of Nablus and Anabta respectively, to al-Mawqif al-Arabi Newspaper about the overall situation in the West Bank and the attempt by the Israeli Occupation Authorities to impose the Israeli Civil Administration, following the dismissal of the elected mayors.
