Seen in the photograph are, Pastor Elia Khury, Mary Jeanne Grupp, one of the founders, Pastor ʿudeh Rantisi and his wife Patricia, and the grandmother carrying their daughter Suzan on the day of her baptism. Founded in 1954, this childcare home of the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem was founded by Mary Jeanne Grupp, Kit Morgan and Gladys Thomas and initially housed ten children. The Home now operates under the guidance of the Arab Episcopal Church - the Jerusalem Diocese.
