Taken in 1989, this photograph shows Amal al-Qasim, shaheed Omar al-Qasim's sister, with Zahida Aql, one of the cadres of the Union of Women's Action Committees- the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, at the shaheed's funeral, which was held at the family house in the Sheikh Jarrah neighbourhood in Jerusalem.
